By accessing or using the SeRaSilk Exports website and services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers.
2. About Our Products
2.1 Product Authenticity
All sarees sold by SeRaSilk Exports are authentic Kanchipuram silk sarees, handwoven by master artisans in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India. Each saree is made with pure mulberry silk and genuine zari (gold/silver thread) unless otherwise specified.
2.2 Product Descriptions
We make every effort to display product colours and details as accurately as possible. However, due to variations in screen displays, actual colours may differ slightly from what is shown on the website. Minor variations in handwoven products are natural and are a hallmark of authentic handloom craftsmanship.
2.3 Custom Orders
Custom-designed sarees are made to your specifications after mutual confirmation of the design. Custom orders are non-refundable and non-cancellable once weaving has commenced, as they are unique pieces created specifically for you.
3. Ordering & Pricing
3.1 Enquiries & Orders
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not constitute a binding order. Orders are confirmed only after mutual agreement on product specifications, pricing, and delivery terms via email or WhatsApp communication.
3.2 Pricing
Prices are communicated on a per-order basis depending on the saree design, silk weight, zari content, and complexity. Prices are subject to change based on raw material costs (silk and gold thread). Quoted prices are valid for 7 days from the date of quotation unless otherwise stated.
3.3 Payment
Payment terms will be communicated at the time of order confirmation. For custom orders, an advance payment (typically 50%) is required before weaving begins, with the balance due before shipping.
4. Shipping & Delivery
4.1 Domestic Shipping (India)
We ship across India via trusted courier partners. Standard delivery takes 5–7 business days. Express delivery options are available for select locations.
4.2 International Shipping
We ship internationally to most countries. International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
4.3 Delivery Timelines
For ready-stock sarees, shipping is dispatched within 2–3 business days. For custom orders, production time is 15–45 days depending on design complexity, after which shipping is dispatched. We provide tracking information for all shipments.
5. Returns & Exchanges
5.1 Return Policy
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for ready-stock sarees, provided the saree is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags intact. Custom orders are not eligible for returns.
5.2 Exchange Policy
Exchanges are accepted within 7 days of delivery for manufacturing defects or incorrect items. Please contact us with photographs of the issue for prompt resolution.
5.3 Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the SeRaSilk website, including text, images, logos, design elements, and photographs, is the property of SeRaSilk Exports and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
SeRaSilk Exports shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service in question.
We are not responsible for delays or failures in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or logistics disruptions.
8. Bulk & Business Orders
For wholesale, retail, and business orders, separate terms may apply based on the volume, frequency, and nature of the partnership. These terms will be outlined in a separate commercial agreement or purchase order.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our Services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
